The River Helmsdale
Here's a good shot of the River Helmsdale this evening taken from the bridge at Kildonan. The Helmsdale is a very prolific highland salmon river especially when lovely water conditions like this oblige.

13 lbs Spring Salmon Kinnaird Beat River Tay
Here's Jason Liffen on day 3 of his salmon fishing career having just landed a poweful River Tay Spring salmon of 13 lbs from the untouchable Junction Pool of the Lower Kinnaird Beat. Jason's fine Springer came to a size 11 copper bodied cascade of his ghillie's preferred dressing and it just goes to show what is possible when you hire a top quality salmon fishing guide & Speycasting instructor !!!! Spring Salmon Perfection Kinnaird Beat River Tay
Here's Darren Liffen with an absolute peach of a Spring salmon which he caught on the fly on day 2 of his salmon fishing career. This perfect Tay springer came to a size 11 copper bodied cascade of his ghillie's preferred dressing and was hooked in the Junction Pool of the superb Lower Kinnaird beat. 22 lbs Springer On The Fly
Here's delighted Mark Jones (rhs) with an absolute topper of a 22 lbs Tay Spring salmon that he caught on the fly on day 3 of his new salmon fishing career. This perfect big Tay springer took a size 11 copper bodied cascade in the neck of the outstanding Kindallachan pool on the Lower Kinnaird beat. This fish was promptly returned after a 30 minute exilerating battle. Very well done Mark.
