Tay Western Catchments Project Beat Pictures
Here's the Newtyle beat print (click to enlarge) which is 1 of 5 beats that have been painted by top UK landscape artist Alistair Makinson to raise funds for the Tay Western Catchment Project (1017 mile Tay habitat enhancement project). Scottish Native Woods are taking orders just now for these limited edition numbered prints. All 5 prints can be viewed on the SNW website Click here. A set of 5 of the same number can be supplied. SNW have also set up a superb blog which shows everything that the TWCP surveyors are mapping in the Tay headwater rivers Lyon, Lochay & Dochart. Please support this initiative by purchasing one or more of these excellent prints. Evaluating & enhancing the Tay headwater habitats in such a large & professional scale is a huge & important box to tick for the future of our most precious Spring Tay salmon stocks which are so vital to all the outlying Perthshire rural economies.
