This fish minutes into being hooked at the very top of the Fernie Haugh Pool on the Dalmarnock beat by Mats Johnson decided it had other plans !!! Mats started Spey casting for the very first time at 10 o'clock this morning and this expolsive action kicked off at 12.30. After the following 40 minute scrap making us somewhat later for lunch than expected his first ever salmon was successfully landed. Scroll down to see more of the fight. Brilliant stuff Mats !!!
