Here's Mike Flinn educating school children this morning from the Royal Dunkeld Primary School about the removal of the commercial forest edge from the burn and the difference between coniferous and deciduous trees. Mike is the education and communities forester for Forest Enterprise based in Inver Park, Dunkeld. The burn is now being used as an example of how the delicate riparian environment works by the local school which is really great news as obviously getting this sort of environmental message to the kids is of paramount importance.
