Fishing Hut View Today

Here's a panoramic of the Newtyle Beat today. On Monday Fiona Stewart caught a smashing 9 pounder from 'The Boil' which took a black flying C lure. This was Fiona's first ever day salmon fishing so exceptionally well done Fiona !! Yesterday Robert Brown landed a 40 inch sea licer which was estimated at 24 lbs. The fish took a red flamethrower in 'The Boil' and was quickly released. Very well done Robert.

Here's a look at our water gauge today. The Tay rose a few inches this morning which should spice things up a little over the next few days. There are plenty fish in the Trap & Boil so it's well worth a go just now. To book a rod on the Newtyle Beat Click here.
