As you can see the water level has dropped about a foot overnight. This is good news for the flyfishers as most of our fly water is at a perfect spring height. Nothing caught today on Newtyle however a heavy fish did briefly say hello to me today down at the 'Plain Tree' pool where there was several springers showing this afternoon.
