Kelt Action On Newtyle Today

I was sure at first that I was into a small springer when I saw the beautiful silver flanks and felt the power of this well mended cock kelt today. It's great to see a kelt at this advanced stage of recovery following the rigours of winter spawning. You can see why it's sometimes very difficult for a new fisher to know the difference between a kelt & a springer when they catch a lovely silver fish like this one.
