This little highland river has got to be one of the most outstanding success stories of all time. Thousands of salmon now ascend the River Forss each year due to the fine efforts of their highly effective fishery manager Christopher Brockelbank-Fowler. This river is easily coverable with a 9 ft trout rod and is stuffed with salmon most months of the year. Even in low water and low tide salmon can move into the river due to a channel being dug at the river's estuary. I have a few rods available for weeks during June July & August if anyone would like to experience an easy & effortless way to catch salmon.
