Now it's normal to ask yer ghillie where the best place is to find a fish however the Dunkeld Fish Bar is an absolute dead cert. for a result !! Scott Davie the new proprietor has done an amazing job at raising the bar (excuse the pun) at serving delicious fish and chips amongst other perfectly cooked fresh products. With returning salmon high on the agenda these days what a great way to end your enjoyable day on the river by swinging into Dunkeld for one of Scott's finest fish suppers. I can personally assure you that you will not be disappointed. Scott's shop is located 80 yards into Atholl Street (which is the main street through Dunkeld) from Dunkeld Bridge on the opposite side of the Tay from the A9. Last year on Newtyle Scott was even delivering fish suppers and other orders to the Newtyle Beat fishing hut which all of our guests just absolutely loved.

I totally agree with what you say, also as far as possible Scott has tried to source local produce. His Loch Duart salmon suppers are well worth a try.
