Here's the neck of the Ash Trees Pool on Lower Kinnaird. There are lovely beats on the Tay with classic fly pools which are a delight to swing a fly through. Then you get the rare combination of having the above but on 'real' holding water too. In the days when Calum Gillies was the head ghillie on this beat the Lower Kinnaird fishing hut was located on this very pool close to where this shot was taken. Usually fishing huts were located on the most productive pools on a beat. For more information on our guiding services Click here.
