Here's a classic shot of my late father Donald Monteith being escorted off the promenade by a member of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute in Portpatrick (where he lived) during the storms that hit Scotland in the late 90's. A local photographer grabbed this shot which was then picked up by the 'Sunday Times' and ended up on the front page !!!
