Inchewan Burn Habitat Restoration Project, River Tay, Perthshire
River Tay Habitat Restoration Project on Birnam's Inchewan Burn
I started this thoroughly appraised habitat restoration project on The Inchewan Burn in Birnam, Perthshire in 2004. The project is now completing and has attracted £93,000 of investment from various funding sources. This project (sadly) has never been formally acknowledged by the Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board in any of their publications yet has attracted both SEPA & SNH as a potential demonstration site for displaying good river habitat restortation practices.
