River Tay Sea Trout

These wonderful fish are plentiful in the Tay at the moment and are the best fighting fish of them all. Prior to the salt water fish farms on the West Coast of Scotland these creatures were over abundant. Sea lice issues have downsized the West coast population these days however I do recall one afternoon in the mid 70's on the River Fyne estuary pool landing 49 of them !!!

Speycasting Tuition River Tay

I also teach how to hook a salmon on the fly which unchecked accounts for many missed opportunities for many fly fishers each season.
