The River Forss Estuary Stream

video

This man made channel to the salt water is one of the main reasons why the River Forss has become such an outstanding success story. Seals in the estuary don't get much of a chance to do damage to the salmon stocks due to this initiative from the highly effectiver river board.

River Helmsdale in Sutherland

Here's the River Helmsdasle in perfect order this morning following some rainfall through last night. This perfect highland river is full of salmon at the moment and well worth a cast with the fly.

The River Forss Caithness Scotland

This little highland river has got to be one of the most outstanding success stories of all time. Thousands of salmon now ascend the River Forss each year due to the fine efforts of their highly effective fishery manager Christopher Brockelbank-Fowler. This river is easily coverable with a 9 ft trout rod and is stuffed with salmon most months of the year. Even in low water and low tide salmon can move into the river due to a channel being dug at the river's estuary. I have a few rods available for weeks during June July & August if anyone would like to experience an easy & effortless way to catch salmon.
